Branch President to meet with Chief Economic Development Officer
Moreton Bay Regional Council has appointed a Chief Economic Development Officer in a newly created role to bolster the region’s opportunities. Council’s Regional Economic Development Strategy will be the first piece outlining council’s aspiration around economic development.

Aligning with the Queensland Government’s introduction of the Healthy and active communities mandatory provisions, the Street Design Manual: Walkable Neighbourhoods is live and available for members to support planning for and delivering walkable neighbourhoods.

Work continuing on MBRC COVID-19 recovery
The Institute is continuing its engagement with the Moreton Bay Regional COVID-19 Economic Recovery Sub-Group of council and on the Regional Economic Development Strategy for the Moreton Bay Region.
