Work continuing on MBRC COVID-19 recovery
The Institute is continuing its engagement with the Moreton Bay Regional COVID-19 Economic Recovery Sub-Group of council and on the Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS) for the Moreton Bay Region.
The Institute welcomes council’s action in this area and expects new recovery plan materials to be released shortly. These will build on the response by council in the $15 million MBRC stimulus package.
Consultation on the Regional Economic Development Strategy is concluding, with the Institute contributing members ideas around the document’s focus on short and long term strategies for the region.
