Branch calls for better use of land around transport nodes
A call for a new Public Transport Strategy was the main focus of the Institute’s Moreton Bay Branch’s most recent submission to council.
The submission follows council’s recent public consultation seeking comments on the region’s current public transport network.
Our input highlighted the need to improve transport to and from the main commuter stations, better mobilise residents within the region to support local working and access, and the need to maximise land use opportunities around high frequency public transport nodes.
