Central Queensland Branch
The Central Queensland Branch of the UDIA Queensland is an active community of business leaders who are committed to building long-term sustainable growth in the Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Gladstone regions that make up the Central Queensland area.
Around eight per cent of the region’s workforce, or 6,000 people, are directly employed by the development industry.
In the Central Queensland area, the Branch continues to advocate for members by facilitating regular council discussions. The Branch firmly recognise the important role our industry plays in the economic health of Central Queensland.
The region is well placed to benefit from Queensland’s target to have 50 per cent of Queenslanders living outside of the South East over the next 30 years.
In 2014 the Branch is working to proactively build our membership with our new president, Gideon Genade, and a reinvigorated committee.
