Toowoomba Branch Committee Update

The Toowoomba Executive Committee met earlier this month to discuss a range of topics including:

  • Toowoomba Regional Council Planning Scheme Amendment examples for use in the UDIA policy submission.
  • Land supply across Toowoomba
  • Council Working Group Meeting
  • Locality boundary proposal

Furthermore, the Branch has continued its efforts to meet with critical stakeholders across the region. Stephen Bowers and the UDIA Policy Team met with Toowoomba Regional Council representatives to discuss several ongoing issues to work through. Items discussed included:

  • Progress update for Maintenance Security bonds
  • Toowoomba Regional Planning Scheme Amendment feedback
  • Update of the Drayton Land Use Investigation Area
  • Update of the Flood Hazard Overlay Submission
