New Spring Hill Neighbourhood Plan
A new neighbourhood plan for Spring Hill will replace existing plans that are over 30 years old. The Spring Hill Neighbourhood Plan will become part of Brisbane’s planning scheme to guide new development and infrastructure in Spring Hill and now includes a City Centre expansion precinct.
The plan is now open for a second round of public consultation until 2 June.
The need to optimise Spring Hill’s potential and plan for future growth, while protecting heritage areas was identified in Brisbane City Council’s City Centre Master Plan 2014.
We will be making a submission on the plan, so you can have your say by sending your feedback to our Policy Manager, Martin Zaltron.
We have already communicated some concerns to Brisbane City Council related to tower site cover limits and impact assessment being triggered at only 40% tower site cover. We will continue to keep you informed and use feedback received to inform our input on the matter.
