Branch implementing MOU with FCRC
The Institute’s Fraser Coast Branch has signed an MOU with the Fraser Coast Regional Council (FCRC).
A positive working relationship between the branch and council will deliver many benefits for the community and the industry through establishing better lines of communication and information sharing.
The Code of Ethics of the Institute commits all members to the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and transparency.
The MOU with FCRC reinforces these principles and ensures they underpin all interactions between the branch and council.
The agreement was signed by Branch President Kane Macready and Council CEO Ken Diehm on November 14.It will also be signed by the Mayor and the Institute’s CEO Marina Vit.
Ken Diehm took up the council CEO role in April and has many years of positive experience working with the Institute including with the Townsville branch during a previous role with the Townsville City Council.
