November – Industry Leaders Research Group
We are hosting meetings with members of our Industry Leaders Research Group to discuss the direction of our research for 2018.
1 November – MD lunch with Lord Mayor Graham Quirk
We hosted the Lord Mayor Graham Quirk for a boardroom style luncheon with members.
2 November – Reserve Bank of Australia
We met with the Reserve Bank of Australia representatives to discuss business conditions and impress on them member concerns regarding financing issues.
3 November – Awards for Excellence Lunch
We hosted members at Brisbane City Hall for our 2017 UDIA Qld Mitchell Brandtman Awards for Excellence. The Awards celebrated innovation in the sector and honoured those projects that contributed to creating inspired communities for Queenslanders. Thank you to everyone who came and our Event Partners. 15 November – EnviroDevelopment certificate presentation
We presented AVID Property Group with EnviroDevelopment certifications for their developments: Brentwood Forest (QLD), Harvest (NSW), Bloomdale and Savana (VIC).
28 November – Ipswich City Council
We will meet with Ipswich City Council Senior Officers to discuss Ipswich Council’s review of development fees and charges.
Meetings with government have been cancelled or postponed until the State election because of caretaker mode.
