  • Toowoomba | October Members Breakfast

The Toowoomba Railway Parklands Priority Development Area (PDA) is now open for public consultation. Join us for breakfast and a conversation with Toowoomba Regional Council on how this development will significantly transform the region.

Situated on approximately 50 hectares of land north of Toowoomba CBD, The Toowoomba Railway Parklands PDA aims to strengthen commercial, industrial, retail, residential and historical land uses.

Focused around central parkland on an operational rail yard site and Gowrie Creek, the PDA also incorporates a number of places of state and local heritage significance that are representative of the historical composition of land uses within the locality. Planning and development assessment in the Toowoomba Railway Parklands PDA will be managed by Toowoomba Regional Council.

Come on down and hear from Toowoomba Regional Council’s Acting Manager Strategic Planning and Economic Development Heath Martin on the Council’s draft Development Scheme.
