What is a Local Government Infrastructure Plan and why does it matter? An LGIP is a part of a Planning Scheme that identifies the local government's plans for trunk infrastructure necessary to service urban development at the desired standard of service in a coordinated, efficient and financially sustainable manner.
The UDIA (Qld) will be hearing from Toowoomba Regional Council over breakfast about the new Local Government Infrastructure Plans and have the opportunity to comment while it is open for public consultation.
This is a great chance to hear what the Local Government is cooking up in terms of development for the region and how it will affect the community. This is also an opportunity to voice your opinion while the plans are open for public consultation.
