The Fundamentals of Property Development will provide an overview of the property development industry and will specifically cater to new entrants to the industry or those looking to broaden their knowledge of the industry. It will assist developers and stakeholders associated with the development industry who are looking for a clearer understanding on how to successfully develop a project.


Delivered by leading industry experts the course will offer practical advice and cover key issues from selecting the right site, the Development Application process, feasibility and due diligence, right through to project management and understanding funding options.

This course is a two full day course commencing Wednesday, 29 April to Thursday, 30 April 2015.

Sarah provides front end advisory services, including project scoping, strategic planning advice and due diligence, through to representing stakeholders in planning and environment litigation, and assisting clients with environmental compliance.

Stephen has been Vice President of the UDIA (Qld) since 2008. Prior to this, he was President of the UDIA (Qld) Gold Coast Logan Branch. Stephen has over 20 years’ experience in development and has held key positions in both local government and private organisations. Stephen is Principal of Harrison Development Group, and is also Project Director for a 20,000 lot masterplanned community at Flagstone.

With over 15yrs in Real Estate, Brendan has worked in both agency & corporate roles within industry. 2009 Brendan became Managing Director, Partner and Licensee at Ray White CBD & in 2011 he joined Metro Property Development as General Manager of Sales. Tessa Group specialises in Property Advisory & project marketing; Property Development; Residential Property & Building Management; House/Land sales & building and general agency – residential.

He has gained international experience working for leading global law firms in both the United Kingdom and Brisbane and also acting for multi-national and foreign listed clients.

Richard Fulcher

Richard Fulcher

Richard has been intimately involved in the development of more than 50 projects over 20 years, ranging from boutique to billion dollar undertakings. Richard has held senior executive roles in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. Through his hands-on approach, Richard brings a unique skill set and value adding perspective to the whole property development life cycle.

Cameron McColl

Cameron McColl

Cameron is a qualified Accountant and is currently a member of CPA Australia as a Public Accountant. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Agent & Developer. Having worked with companies such as Brisbane Airport Corporation & Ray White, Cameron has consulted to private property developers as well as public and private equity owned companies on projects that included national system implementations and IPO’s. Cameron has been the Group Manager of P3 Capital & P3 Projects for the past 8 years.
