Register now for the 2nd Annual Environmental Management Seminar, co-hosted by CCAA, IQA, and the Queensland Government (Department of Environment and Heritage Protection). Sponsored by BAAM Ecological Consultants, Groundwork Plus, Hopgood Ganim, and O2 Group, the event is being held on Wednesday 14 September at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane.
The aim of the day-long seminar is to:
Share and promote good environmental management practices; and
Provide a forum to foster improved relations between industry operators and government representatives about environmental management regulatory issues.
The seminar will be opened by the Hon Dr Steven Miles MP, Minister for Environment and Heritage Protection and Minister for National Parks and the Great Barrier Reef, and will feature keynote speaker, Professor Will Steffen, climate change expert and researcher at the Australian National University, Canberra.
The program will also include presentations on environmental legislation, weather forecasting, energy efficiency, water management, and an update from EHP on key priorities for the regulator.
