Prestigious and highly sought after in the Queensland development industry, the UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence program is one of Queensland’s most respected and valued industry awards programs. The Awards have been developed specifically by and for the development industry to recognise excellence and innovation in one of the state’s critical industry groups.
The Awards program culminates in a spectacular gala dinner and presentation ceremony, which attracts a large and impressive audience of development professionals together with dignitaries including State Government ministers and members and mayors and councilors from across the Queensland.
The UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence are integrated with both national and international award programs. Six of the Queensland Award winners are eligible for direct entry to the UDIA National Awards which are announced each year at the UDIA National Congress. Queensland has a proud list of winners of National Awards and indeed the National President’s Award over the years.
The UDIA Awards for Excellence were first introduced in 1994. They now have a lengthy history with trophies being placed in boardrooms and display centres as a tangible sign of the value attached to the awards.
