WID Excellence Awards

In 2006, Women in Development was pleased to launch its first UDIA Women in Development Awards Program, providing a unique platform for recognising the significant contribution of women working within the development industry. Planning is now underway for the 2010 WID Excellence Awards, the annual highlight of the WID calendar.

If you’re a woman in the development industry, take the plunge and nominate yourself in one of our eight categories – you could be the proud winner of a WID Award.

Why should I nominate?

• To raise your profile and your company's profile

• To be recognised for your outstanding achievements as a woman in the development industry

• To encourage more women to participate in the industry

How do I nominate?

Step 1: Check if you are a member of UDIA (Qld). All entrants must be current UDIA (Qld) members (excluding Award Category 6 for students). If you are not a member, contact Debbie Weir, Member Services Director at UDIA (Qld) on (07) 3233 2724 for a membership application.

Step 2: Download the WID Awards Guidelines and Nomination Form.

Step 3: Complete nominations before 5pm, Friday 14 May 2010.

Step 4: Participate in a judging interview.

Step 5: Register for the awards ceremony.

Step 6: Attend the 2010 WID Cocktail Party and Awards Ceremony on 25 June 2010 to collect your award!
